PCCTI Oakbrook Is An “Equal Opportunity Employer”

PCCTI Oakbrook, established in 1997, is a healthcare school, which offers nursing programs such as Licensed Practical Nursing. It received approval from the Illinois State Board of Education to provide a formal educational program in 1999. It is approved by the Division of Private Business & Vocational schools of the Illinois Board of Higher Education, Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH), and Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR). It is accredited by North Central Association Commission Accreditation on School Improvement Post Secondary (NCA CASI).

PCCTI follows Equal Opportunity policy, which prohibits discrimination against all individuals in the US on the basis of race, religion, sex, color, national origin, sexual orientation, age, disability, political affiliation or belief, and against beneficiaries on the basis of either citizenship/status as a lawfully admitted immigrant authorized to work in the US. It complies with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, which prohibits discrimination on the bases of race, color and national origin. It also complies with The American with Disabilities Act of 1990 and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, which prohibits discrimination against qualified individuals with disabilities.

PCCTI IT and Healthcare
complies with Section 188 of the WIA, and provides that person with disabilities must be provided with reasonable accommodations and modifications for their disabilities. This section also requires that individuals with disabilities be given services alongside (not segregated from) people without disabilities, unless the program or activity providing services performs an individualized assessment of a particular individual with a disability and concludes that the individual needs special, segregated services. The school is thus an equal opportunity employer.
